Properties: The outer surface is black with large pyramidal warts, while the inner is light brown in colour with abounding whitish veins.
The summer truffle lives in symbiosis with many forest species, like oak, pine, beech, hornbeam, birch, hazel, etc.
It has a very delicate and pleasant hazel-like aroma.
