Beluga caviar comes from the Beluga sturgeon (Huso Huso). The fish can grow up to 8 meters long and weigh over 1.5 tons. It was originally found in the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea and the Azov Sea. It has also been in the Adriatic, the Ionian Sea and their tributaries before it became extinct there. Magnatum's Beluga caviar originates from a mountain lake in Bulgaria. Beluga is the most expensive caviar due to its rarity and high quality. It is characterized by the large eggs, which are over 3.2 millimeters, the oval shape and the color, which varies from pearl to dark gray.
