Terms of Service
These Terms and Conditions apply to all trading on www.magnatum.ie (the "Website"), and regulate all relations between you and us.
When you buy goods on the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. It is important that you familiarize yourself with the Terms and Conditions and understand all the details, as they contain the terms that apply to you as a consumer.

2.Entering into a purchase agreement
As soon as you receive an order confirmation from us per. e-mail, a purchase agreement has been entered into. Until you receive your order confirmation, we may cancel your order in whole or in part, e.g. as a result of sold out items. If we have to cancel your order, we will of course inform you by e-mail or telephone.
Check your order confirmation.
Please check that all the information in your order confirmation is correct and that it matches your order. If you discover errors in your order, please call or write to customer service as soon as possible.
3.Payment
On the Website, you can pay for your purchases with the following payment cards: Visa, , MasterCard, Visa Elektron, and Eurocard.
An amount corresponding to the value of your order will be reserved in connection with your order. The amount will only be deducted from your account when your order is packed and ready for collection at our warehouse. An amount greater than what you have approved at the time of purchase can never be deducted.
When you trade with debit cards, you will not be deducted a payment fee.
All price indications include VAT. Prices are daily prices.
Security
To protect your account information, you are transferred to a separate payment page when paying on the Website. The payment solution is provided by our payment provider Shopify payments, which is certified to handle your payment data and which ensures that all information is encrypted and sent via SSL to Shopify. This means that only Shopify can read your payment data.
Receipt
When your order is packed and ready for collection, you will receive an electronic receipt. You can always see your receipt on "My account", if you create a user account with us.
Delivery of goods from www.magnatum.ie is considered to have taken place as soon as the buyer has received the goods. All orders are sent with DHL, unless otherwise agreed separately between the buyer and the "Website" . Delivery will usually take place within 1-5 working days. The stated delivery time is indicative and can thus be deviated from.
We send all items as parcel post; it makes it possible to track the parcel in case problems should arise. The goods are insured during shipment and upon receipt, please check the contents of the package. If the package and / or the contents are damaged when you receive it, you must report it to DHL immediately, or no later than 2 days after receipt the "Website" is not responsible for goods that are damaged during transport.
In order to ensure the freshness of our truffles, we collect orders every Monday and Tuesday. Weekly dispatches take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
You may not order goods for resale, and all purchases you make must be for personal consumption.
Our products are carefully selected and sorted so that you can get the best possible products.
Should you unexpectedly receive an item that does not live up to standard, please contact our customer service via e-mail or telephone as soon as possible and within 3 days of receipt. You can choose whether you want the money back for the item in question, or whether the item is replaced. Magnatum is entitled to demand that the item be returned.
Of course, the above also applies if you experience that your order is otherwise deficient.
When you buy, the Purchase Act applies, and you thus have a 2-year right of complaint for goods that are not for the household's current consumption. The right of complaint, at our choice, includes the possibility of having the item repaired, exchanged, get a reduction in the price or get the money back, in the case of a justified complaint. This is not a justified complaint if the defect in the product has arisen as a result of wear and tear, aging, incorrect use or other behavior that has caused damage to the product. You must report defective items as soon as possible and no later than 2 months after you have discovered a defect or a defect in the item.
As a consumer, you have a 14-day withdrawal period from the day the goods have been picked up from us.
You can only exercise your right of withdrawal if the goods are essentially unchanged. This does not apply if the goods have been damaged or altered due to an action that was necessary to examine the goods or due to a circumstance that cannot be attributed to you.
Please note that there is no right of withdrawal on e.g. food, beverages and other similar items for the household.
If you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us clearly and unambiguously before the expiry of the withdrawal period by e-mail, and the goods must be returned to:

As a customer, you take care of costs associated with return. We do not accept packages sent by post. cash on delivery.
Consequences of cancellation
If the right of withdrawal under this agreement is exercised, we will refund the payment for the item covered by the right of withdrawal without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of receipt of your notice to exercise the right of withdrawal for the order in question. Refunds will be made using the same means of payment used to place the order, unless you have expressly accepted or requested otherwise. You will not be charged a fee in connection with the refund.
We are entitled to withhold the refund until we have received the goods returned, or we have received documentation that the goods have been returned to us.
You can return the goods to us by post or freight, you must pay for the transport costs yourself, and you are responsible for the item during shipment.
The goods must be returned to us in our warehouse (see address below under item 12) without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which you have given notice of exercising your right of withdrawal. The deadline is met if you return the goods before the expiry of the withdrawal period, but at the latest before the quality or shelf life of the goods has changed.
We recommend that you keep documentation for the return of the goods.
As a starting point, you are liable for a possible deterioration in the value of the goods if the deterioration is caused by handling the goods that was unnecessary to determine the goods' quality, function, nature and properties. You may normally inspect the item in the same way as you can and may in a store, but you may not use it. If you have used it in a way that you are not allowed or can in a business and we can not sell it again, or can not sell it at full price again, you can expect us to deduct the impairment in the amount you must have left. If the item no longer has a trade value, we will not refund the purchase amount.
For all disputes and legal disputes in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or subsequent individual agreements, Irish law applies. Neither the International Sales Law (CISG) nor other pan-European laws should apply. In the case of consumer agreements, the conditions of the law apply regardless of where the consumer resides. The right venue must at all times be Ireland.
Should trades be made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, our business seat shall be the venue for legal disputes, including our usual terms and conditions of trade, retail contracts, and payment and bill provisions. However, we can choose to bring cases at the customer's venue.
EU Commission's online complaint portal can also be used when submitting a complaint. It is particularly relevant for consumers residing in another EU country. For (temporarily) unavailable items. In the unlikely event that goods are not in stock when an order is packed, we reserve the right to replace a (temporarily) unavailable item with an appropriate replacement of equal or higher value.
